Shinoh provided full-service design and execution for TIRTIR’s first New York City pop-up. The project scope included location scouting, lease coordination, permit consulting, spatial planning, on-site buildout, and final teardown.
The search focused on SoHo for its high concentration of fashion and cosmetic brands. Venues were evaluated based on foot traffic, natural light, accessibility, and compliance with local regulations.
The spatial design drew inspiration from TIRTIR’s signature red egg foundation. Using high-density foam for its tactile quality, the visual merchandising displays (VMDs) were handcrafted due to the material’s incompatibility with CNC fabrication. The main VMD featured a custom acrylic holder with single-sided prints, structural piping, and information stickers. Complementary illuminated displays highlighted the brand’s lip and skincare lines.
VMD fabrication was completed in collaboration with Assembly Loop Lab (ALL) at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
